sMash Enterprise Packager

Enabling centralized deployment and management of sMash applications with WebSphere Application Server v7

The sMash Enterprise Packager wraps WebSphere sMash applications in EAR files for deployment through the WebSphere Administrative Console.





1. Build the Application

Download and use the creative breadth of WebSphere sMash DE, to build enterprise-situational applications. Test it, revise it, polish it in the agile sMash environment.

2. Package the application

Download the sMash Enterprise Packager and use it to repackage your sMash application as an EAR file, deployable to WebSphere Application Server.

3. Deploy the application

Use familiar WebSphere deployment tools to push the application into your server or cluster.


Once the packaged application is deployed, all sMash advantages such as application recycle and reduced memory footprint when not active will be retained, and the application can be managed in the WebSphere Administrative Console.
