WebSphere sMash on Amazon's Elastic Cloud Computing (EC2)
In this document, we describe how to develop and execute WebSphere sMash applications on Amazon's EC2 service.
We have two AMIs on Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) that can be instantiated to develop and execute WebSphere sMash applications. Both the AMIs are Suse Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 10 SP2 based have the following additional software installed.
- WebSphere sMash Development AMI
- 1 WebSphere sMash Developers Edition 1.1.1.1
- 1 IBM JDK 6 SR4
- 1 IBM HTTP Server 7.0
- 1 MySQL 5.0
- 1 SQLite
- WebSphere sMash Production AMI
- 1 WebSphere sMash 1.1
- The WebSphere sMash Program Product includes IBM JDK 6 SR4
